Sam Rucker is a seasoned performer with exceptional crowd engagement and musicianship.  

 

In 2022 Sam launched the "In Position Dinner Concert" series and performed 7 consecutive sold-out dinner shows that received rave reviews.

​

In 2024 Sam continues with the "In Position" concert in which his unique blend of head-nodding grooves and inspirational messages uplifts the spirits of audiences as he sets to music the keys to getting your life in position to win.

 

A Sam Rucker concert is an amazing experience on contemporary jazz concert stages and in churches as well. A licensed minister, Sam is an anointed and skilled worship leader and gospel jazz artist.

Sam has performed with many smooth jazz and gospel greats, including Peter White, Euge Groove, Norman Connors,  Phil Perry, Gerald Veasley, Jean Carne, Ron Kenoly, Candi Staton, and more.  In addition, he has opened for Norman Brown, Eric Benet, Will Downing, Ben Tankard, and more.

​Sam's four solo album releases have enjoyed multiple placements in the Billboard charts and all other major smooth jazz radio airplay charts.  In 2023, Sam released his fourth solo studio album entitled "In Position, The Album".
